SKU: TOFISPAM-1 Categories: ,

Tofisopam is used in the treatment of depression. Tofisopam is a benzodiazepine. It works by increasing the action of a chemical messenger (GABA) which suppresses the abnormal and excessive activity of the nerve cells in the brain.

It may also be used for the treatment of alcohol withdrawal syndrome. This medicine is not recommended for use in patients less than 18 years of age since the safety and efficacy of use are not clinically established

Like other benzodiazepines, tofisopam possesses anxiolytic properties but unlike other benzodiazepines it does not have anticonvulsant, sedative, skeletal muscle relaxant, motor skill-impairing or amnestic properties. It enhances the anticonvulsant activity of 1,4-benzodiazepines like diazepam but not sodium valproate, carbamazepine, phenobarbital, or phenytoin.

To prevent sleep disorders, the drug should be taken no later than 4 pm or afterward. Otherwise, you can take ElavilLunesta or Zopicline7.5 and Zopiclone 10mg for sleep.
