JANUMET TABLET is a combination of two medicines that control high blood sugar levels in people with type 2 diabetes mellitus. This helps prevent serious complications of diabetes such as kidney damage and blindness and may reduce your chance of having a heart attack or stroke.
If you miss a dose, take the dose as soon as you remember. If the time for your next dose is near, skip the missed dose and resume your dosage schedule. Do not take extra medicine to make up for the missed dose.
Do not take more than prescribed dose. Using more medication will not improve your symptoms, rather it can cause poisoning or serious side effects.
These side effects are possible, but not always. Some side effects may be rare, but severe. The most common side effects of taking this medicine include diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, upset stomach, headache, and sore throat.
